The Tandem Phoenix (TP) Series is an advanced medium-high aspect ratio, moderately tapered, nine-cell tactical tandem main canopy. The TP-400 and TP-460 models offer an increase in maximum suspended weight capability and are considered the flagship canopies for Military Tandem Tethered Bundle (MTTB) operations. The TP-360 fills the need for a smaller tandem canopy for operations that require a working load up to 550 lb (249 kg). This model is also ideal for solo operators who carry heavy rucks with an excess combat load-out as well as K9 operations. The TP-460 is a hybrid construction, made with a zero-porosity ripstop nylon top surface with 1.1 oz 0.5-3 cfm nylon ripstop in remainder of the canopy. The TP-360 and TP-400 canopies are constructed entirely of zero-porosity ripstop nylon. All models provide optimal offset performance while yielding lighter toggle pressure and increased landing performance during the flare maneuver throughout the canopy’s lifespan.
